ADHD is a developmental impairment of the brain’s self-management system, which makes it difficult for individuals to concentrate or carry on certain tasks that are not interesting. It affects the ability to process information thoroughly, also. “ADHD From Stereotype to Science” by Thomas E. Brown; explains how ADHD is misunderstood or expected from certain groups.
