ANZ Graduate Program
I am interested in applying for the ANZ Graduate Program because I have wanted to pursue a career within rural banking even before starting my university degree. The reason behind this being, I have a real passion and interest in both the agricultural and banking industries. This passion and interest in agriculture and banking has been developed through my rural up-bringing in the Waikato, my enjoyment of working with budgets and numbers and my desire to work closely with clients. Therefore, this graduate program really appeals to me. Furthermore, this graduate program provides an opportunity to learn and implement my skills while pursuing a career that I am passionate about.

I am interested in joining ANZ because it is a reputable business

The Scarlet Ibis is a short story written by James Hurst, noted particularly for its abundance of symbolism. The Scarlet Ibis is narrated through the eyes of an unnamed character we only know as "Brother", who has a physically disabled little brother named Doodle. Brother is ashamed of Doodle’s shortcomings and pushes his physical strength often during their childhood. One stormy day, Brother’s cruelty, pride and impatience spurred him to abandon Doodle in the rain. Throughout the passage, Brother’s behaviors were primarily egotistical and self-motivated. At six years old, he machinated to murder Doodle, though those fell through. Growing up, Brother not only ignores Doodle’s fragile condition, but for the sake of his own interest explores its limits.…

One of my greatest accomplishments was graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance. While working a full-time job consecutively juggling school activities I completed my degree in three and a half years. I was encouraged by my grandfather who was once a Dean of Educational Services at Miami University and consequently had a long legacy of being a superior educator. Completing my degree and starting a career in Banking at Wells Fargo brought an abundance of pride to me and my family. Starting as a Teller I worked my way to becoming a Branch Manager in four years. After devoting ten years in Retail Banking I transitioned to Business Banking. Within six months I became a Business Banking Administration Manager, managing Business Banking Associates and operations among 5 different locations. Three years later I learned that a Business Banking reorganization was going to happen furthermore, I amongst numerous others…

The course that I would propose for the AU Honors Program would be ‘Unlocking the Key to Happiness’. Being happy is something that has always fascinating me, and I think it is essential for living a good life; therefore, a course like this would not only be enlightening and fascinating, but useful. The questions that the course would ask would be how do we become truly happy, what are some obstacles in the way of happiness, how do we overcome those obstacles, and is happiness our purpose in life, or is it something else? Since this is a broad topic, the different disciplines that I would pull from the faculty would be neuroscience (natural and applied sciences), economics and psychology (social sciences), and philosophy (humanities/arts). Neuroscience…
