ANZ Graduate Program
I am interested in applying for the ANZ Graduate Program because I have wanted to pursue a career within rural banking even before starting my university degree. The reason behind this being, I have a real passion and interest in both the agricultural and banking industries. This passion and interest in agriculture and banking has been developed through my rural up-bringing in the Waikato, my enjoyment of working with budgets and numbers and my desire to work closely with clients. Therefore, this graduate program really appeals to me. Furthermore, this graduate program provides an opportunity to learn and implement my skills while pursuing a career that I am passionate about.
I am interested in joining ANZ because it is a reputable business
and an industry leader that delivers quality services to clients, resulting in ANZ creating a strong name within banking. Also, ANZ has created a strong name within the community through volunteering and giving back. Because of this I have an ambition to work for ANZ as I believe that I can really contribute to the business, whilst upholding ANZ’s core values of integrity, collaboration, accountability, respect and excellence. Furthermore, when talking to clients of ANZ they had nothing but good things to say, which further promoted my interest in working for ANZ.
I have many useful skills and attributes that I can bring to ANZ. I have developed communication and interpersonal skills that aid me when developing relationships and I have a strong understanding and background in the agricultural industry. This enables me to operate and communicate very effectively with rural and non-rural clients. I thrive within a team environment and help ensure the teams that I am involved in operate effectively, largely down to gaining management skills through my working experience and many years of participation within team sports. As a proactive hard working individual I pride myself on my work ethic and I am not afraid to take on responsibility and challenges. Finally, I have a high level of ambition that fuels my will to succeed, this helps me to achieve excellence and the goals I set myself in all facets of life including academic, social and sporting.
