APA Reflective Report

As I reflect on my writing retorote for this term. I learned new techniques and methods to stntehtn my professional writing skills. My successes and changllegens has shifted from week to week. However, I have improved from an average commuintor to a more effective commointor. This Business Communications course I had to learn about Bottom Line on Top, memo writing, APA citation, using better transitional words and research methods.
I would say that my success in learning about Bottom Line on Top is that I learned to give the information on my topic immediately and effectively. My changllege is the topic sentence used to be very long-winged and not directly to the point. I am still perfecting and improving this technique in my discussions questions
The APA learning activity help me learn how to cite multiple authors, personal interview and much more. The APA citation is a skill set I will practice and master thru my tenure at Kaplan University.
Although, my memo writing has improved I did not have prior knowledge about memo writing before the term began. Now that I have written several memo within this course. I am more confident in drafting, editing, design and layout for the memos. In my first memo I used poor transitional words like first, second, and thirdly. I am trying to use smoother transitions words such as however and furthermore to improve the flow of my paper.
My research skills have been sharpen by using Kaplan University Library and finding creditliablity sources. I no longer empty my notebook (Ford, 2015).I use the important information in my research to ensure my work is clear, concise and consistent. The researched proposal project allowed for me to take an in depth look on education. I was able to use the APA citation skills, bottom line on top and create original ideas and not parlligesim.
