Eugenio Fernandez Cruzado My current short term goals are to completed my bachelor studies in Business management and attend Officer Candidate School with the U.S. Army. At the current moment I will be able to apply and receive acceptance by the time my studies are completed on April of next year. In order to achieve this goals within the next year, I have created a timeline table that shows me all the options at my disposal. By taking 3 classes the first term and 4 classes for the next 3 terms I will be able to complete my bachelor’s degree a term quicker than expected. 2012’ is paying $55,800 for the HR Specialist and $54,660 for the Labor Relations Specialist. Some of the skills needed for these are jobs are: Decision-making skills, Detail oriented skills, Interpersonal skills, Listening skills, and Speaking skills.
With a Master’s degree one can become a Human Resource Manager, this field requires the HR manager to possess additional skills from the bachelor’s entry level job. These skills are: Leadership and Organizational skills, skills needed to manage not only an office but a group or team of individuals. The associates level for this field only need the employee to possess detail oriented, interpersonal, listening and speaking skills. As their gain both the education and experience they will develop more skills in order to sustain more difficult jobs like the HR Manager who possesses a Master’s Degree entry level. At the very moment, the only skill I have no used or develop is organizational skills, which is mostly use with big companies and organizations that scatter across different locations and depend on that one manager to conduct operational goals. As of right now my career goals may change depending if any unexpected issues were to occur, in my case a deployment or even accident that could stop me from carrying out my school goals as planned. In the order hand having a school date to
candidate school that may be outside the regular 6 month wait will push my goals timeline back considerably.
