Amnesty International USA 's Program to Abolish the Death Penalty (PADP) works toward the abolition of the death penalty worldwide. Collaborating with departments such as Communications, Government Relations, and many others. The Program supports the work of Amnesty International 's Regional Offices, State Death Penalty Abolition Coordinators (SDPACs), and grassroots activists across the country by serving as a facilitator and as a clearinghouse for information and resources on death penalty abolition. They call on the elected officials of various locations to review their findings and arguments.
