Abortion is inherently different from other medical procedures because no other procedure involves the purposeful termination of a potential life. - Potter Stewart This is important because there trying to say in the procedujre of an abortion is your taking a god given gift and your basically killing one human to hopefully save another. Abortion can be very hard to understand. Some reasons we have abortion is because of unexpted things such as rape, also sometimes the mother may not be able to support the child, and also having abortion legal it let’s women have control of their own bodies.
Not all women can control that there pregnate.
Unexpexted things can occur. Such as rape/incest. Lots of things can happen such as a women getting raped. In 2003, 664,435 women had gotten an abortion. Women aged 15-44 years, and the abortion ration was 200:1,000 (abortions per, 1,000 live births. Less than 1% of all abortions are performed to save the life of the mother. Meaning that lots of women having an abortion is not to save the womens/mothers life… this could mean it could be of rape/incest or something mabey worse. Rape is something that no women can control lots of rape happens in our society today.
