i feel as though Abraham Lincoln was a successful president when it came to all his actions he put forward, for example the way he pushed forth in the civil war even though he was fighting with generals who weren't ready to fight, assasination threats, and a lot of arguing between his cabinet members. Lincoln issued the emancipation proclimation even though he was killed before it was put into full effect, but this helped free the slaves in years to come with his support of the thirteenth amendment.…
Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglas are heroic men who sacrificed their whole lives for the greater good of society. They lived to inspire and thrive on the good of other people. Both of them had optimism for everyone and aspired to make everything prosper. They constantly strived to make the world a better place for everyone no matter what. Abraham Lincoln was the 16 President and was the president during the civil war and was assassinated. He entered the civil war trying to preserve the Union trying to make it safe for everyone but later focused on the slaves and really cared.
