Abram Case Study: Teamwork
Abram will have challenges with is new team due to him been the leader of this project. He has taking over the leading role from Gibson, which his abilities maybe questioned if he is the best fit for the position. Team members are disappointed that they did not receive the position, because they believe that most if not all employees deserve Gibson’s old positions. Abram is the best fit since he has team orientated and motivated to finish the project in a timely manner. The challenges Abram will encounter are: team management, providing leadership skills, great working environment and team working well with each other; and be a leader in a good manner. Other challenges he will face is internal issues, problems with co-workers, and furthermore
he will be troubled by his new title because of the change of management. For example, Hampton worked well with the rules that Gibson’s used; Hampton will be affected subsequently his work habits were based around Gibson’s requirements. Abram will be challenged in regards to Hampton work habits because he must convince him that group meetings are good for the team and changes that are made are for the betterment for the project. Firstly, Abram will have problems with fellow employees because they too wanted the position that Gibson had. The focus and determination that Abram has will enable the team to gain success and teamwork which will allow them to feel like they are contributing to a cause. The errors that has been present during the time Gibson was leading will cease to exist, this is the opportunity for Abram to shows he will use to the team to the maximum potential. Abram is well balanced with his personal life and work, so their will never be a conflict between these situations. He understands the internal and external issues which will influence him to strive for greatness and the responsibilities that are set upon him.
