According To The Greasers: What Is A Community?
What is a community ? A community is a group of people who you can depend on and also a community can be described as a group of friend or your neighborhood friends that you can call family. How does a Community help ? A community can really help a lot because if you are lonely you can depend of your community family to come around and bring you excitement or even if you are that person who just stay in the house all day your community family can be the ones that you can go to the mall and hang out with. What does a community teach ? A community teaches is that you can have just at least a group of people that you can say that somebody is going to be there for you no matter what it also teaches you that you just don't always have to be

The greasers and the Socs are 2 communities that dislike each other as you can tell as you read the novel, these communities are more likely known as the “Cool Guys Groups” the way my definition a nd the novel has a comparison is because just like Ponyboy which was a single person at the beginning of the novel basically had no one but then as you could get in detail about ponyboy you saw that he not only was a single person but he was apart of a community which was “The Greasers” and he had 2 boys that he really could depend on which was Dally and Johnny.
