ACT Essay In order to consider what's best for the students, the town council should not enforce the curfew because it is not the council's responsibility to take care of the students, and parents own the students ;therefore, it is the parents possibility to the decide the curfew.
It is not the town council's job to take care of the students. The town council is too busy taking care of more important situations in the town. It would be too hectic to put a universal curfew for students in the town. This would be a distraction to the real and crucial situations in the town.
If the council puts a universal curfew for the whole town, it would all be chaotic and create more stress to the council. Letting the parent decide what's the curfew is a more efficient because only parents would have the stress to pick a curfew and it would not interfere with the priorities if the town.
There is a bad thing about having the parents decide the curfew that it would some parents would decide that they can stay out but they have to come home. That would be dangerous but some parents are strict, so they would not allow that to happen. This will be much better because the parents know what's best for their own and would not be careless about it. To let the parents decide the curfew is way much better. To know what's best for the students, town council should not enforce their own curfew but let the students' parents decide it for them. This will enable to have unnecessary stress out of the way for the town council and parents know their own students the best, it should be up the parents.
