For instance, the city of North Richland Hills maintains a law ordering that a man less than 17 years old years old must not be out amid the hours of 11:00 pm to 6:00 a.m, Monday through Thursday. Numerous different urban communities are considering doing in like manner. I strongly agree with this approach for a few reasons. Firstly, due to their regard for wellbeing. Having this actualized will help shield the youth from being casualties of wrongdoing. Indeed, all are helpless to a degree, yet the fact of the matter is that youngsters are more at risk. They are more vulnerable, and pretty much powerless against being taken advantage of. …show more content…
Secondly, while it can be stated that a curfew does not have the capacity to dispose of all wrongdoing, the check in time would certainly help diminish adolescent crime.
Again, this is in favor of the wellbeing of citizens in the community. If the opportunity to make some difference in the community presents itself, would you not have the desire to? Particularly when it concerns the wellbeing of not only adolescents, but all citizens in the community. Even if you do not have kids, all of us can relate because we were all kids once. The idea that kids under the age of eighteen ought to be free to roam the streets after 10 p.m. is faulty as it fails to protect everyone. A curfew for adolescents will bring them valuable boundaries which can transfer into other areas of their lives. Some may have no boundaries or discipline at home and at least they will learn to respect this
boundary.
Thirdly and lastly, there is just no reason that teens shouldn’t be home at a reasonable time anyway. This is something that society has seemed to stray away from. For example, the news late at night would give reminders to parents about their children asking them if they knew where they were. Kids should be at home with their families, promoting a sense of family and a sense of belonging.
To sum it all up, I believe 1. the wellbeing of all, 2. the opportunity to reduce teenage mayhem, and 3. the fact that adolescents should be at home with family at a reasonable time are all reasons to support the time check.
