May 10th, 2014 Adidas, a Company which targets the sport market and customers of the Urban upper-middle and upper class who have young men ,women and children who have passion for fitness and sports. Adidas is worth over 8.3 Billion dollars. Herbert Hainer, the CEO of Adidas makes a large chunk of that money, along with the many endorsement deals with famous celebrities. Many other people that profit from Adidas are the stockholders and the owners of the Adidas stores.
This successful company creates unique athletic sneakers, clothing and accessories that are professionally designed for numerous sports. However it doesn’t end with sporting items. They sell bags and watches also. Adidas even as eyewear for sell for fashion sensed sports fans. They sell a large amount of sports clothing and sports and game equipment.
Adidas is the world’s second largest producer of Sporting apparel. At the moment it lacks only behind Nike. This is mainly due to Nike’s overwhelming market share of the US; But Adidas’ takeover of Reebok has allowed the group to increase its share of the US market. However Adidas leads in Europe, being the largest producer in France, Germany and Japan, the leading markets outside of the US.
Headquarters are located in Germany. Adidas holds the title as the largest sportswear company in Europe and the second highest in the world second to Nike. Sometime in the 1990s Adidas divided its brand into three. Adidas Performance focuses on the athletes while Adidas Original focuses on fashion. Style Essentials is a mix of the company products. Today Adidas is a sponsor for the Olympics. They play a major role in all of these huge events every year. The also act in FIFA, UEFA, the NBA as a major role. The brand gets on global scale and is now one of the most recognizable brands by an enormous of people. Adidas is a major sponsor for international football teams, especially in Europe.
