jews. The Final Solution was the worst thing in it’s time. Hitler wanted the final solution to happen for a long time just he couldn’t do it till he was the leader of Germany. The final solution was implemented in stages. The final solution was the plan to get rid of all the jews, the plan was thought of by a jew, Adolf Hitler.
There were 6 extermination camps in former polish land, Chelmno, Belzec, Sobibor, Treblinka, Auschwitz-Birkenau, and Majdanek. There was 5 ways the nazis killed the Jews during the final solution; those five ways consisted of gassings, shootings, random acts of terror, disease, and starvation. The final solution was implemented in stages. State enforced racism resulted in anti-Jewish legislation, boycotts, aryanization, and finally kristallnacht which all were aimed to exterminate all the Jews. Anti-jewish policy evolved into a plan to get rid of all European jewry after the beginning of WW2. The nazis established ghettos in occupied Poland. The Polish and western european jews were deported to these ghettos. Mobile killing squads (Einsatzgruppen) began killing entire Jewish communities during the german invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941. The Einsatzgruppen used methods such as shootings and gas vans, which were soon regarded inefficient and a psychological burden on the killers. The nazis began systematic deportation of all jews to six extermination camps after the wannsee conference in January

June 22nd, 1941 was the first key date of the final solution. On June 22nd, 1941 the Einsatzgruppen joined the German army in the invasion of the Soviet Union. The Einsatzgruppen were assigned to kill the jews during the invasion. As the german army advanced deeply into the Soviet Union the einsatzgruppen followed. December 8th, 1941 was another one of the key dates, it was when the first killing center started operation. The Chelmno killing center was the first to begin operation. Victims at Chelmno were killed in gas vans. Auschwitz-Birkenau was the biggest killing center. The Belzec, Sobibor, Treblinka camps use carbon monoxide gas generated by stationary engines. Auschwitz-Birkenau has four large gas chambers using zyklon b as the killing agent.
