Mindset plays a very important role to whether or not we will succeed in life more than where one comes from. It, in a way determines whether or not you may have a happy and successful life. So would you want to be in control of the way your life turns out or would you just have it ran by blind faith alone?
Look at all the great men, and some women throughout history that created empires and would forever have their name remembered for generations to come, they never played the victim. They were creators and took charge of their lives and empires and reached their goals due to the fact that they had a proper understanding of what they wanted and didn’t let anyone get in the way of their goals. When they messed up they took responsibility for the results and learned from their mistakes and moved on forward to their goals.
When Deborah failed English 101 for the fourth time and yelled out how it wasn’t fair that she failed for the fourth time she was playing a victim and is blind to the fact that she was the one to create the outcome of that test and that she didn’t take the extra time out of her “busy” life to go to study groups nor take the time out of her day to look at her grammar. It’s a logical explanation to the reason she failed and she doesn’t see it as hers and blames her teachers for the grade. What if Deborah took responsibility for her work from the beginning and took charge of her grade?
Her chances of success would have increased tremendously if she would have gotten help from her teachers when they had their scheduled appointments and may have learned a lot more than she already knew because her teacher offered her help with eliminating her grammar issues so that she could pass the class but it was her choice to not go.
In a way to play a creator is a little like playing God with your own life. Instead of saying “It’s in God’s hands” why don’t you take the wheel and
