As a half working student, I missed out many aspects of college life. My major was Biochemistry and my minor was Education. Biochemistry required to fully commit to pre-medical. Since I was having multiple jobs at that time, it affects my personal life with my friends as well as my college education. My jobs distracted my education because it takes away my time and energy. However, although my jobs take away part of my college life, I did develop a skill of multi-tasking and supporting my younger sister.
I am very proud of myself for my younger sister, even after being having such a busy half working college life. I was able to be always there for my little sister when she needed me. I guess I felt obligated because of being her older sister. Right now, she's paying her own fee, finishing her college, and being independent for herself.
