Advantages And Disadvantages Of Medicare
Medicare is a federal health insurance program established by Congress in 1965. This federal health insurance program offers health care assistances for people 65 or older, people younger than 65 who have certain disabilities, and people of any age who have permanent kidney failure.
It would seem as if Medicare would be one of the best programs afford to any citizen within the U.S, yet this program comes with same number of disadvantages and advantages. For instance, one of the disadvantage Medicare has is the variety of plans that the consumer must choose from. Due to the huge amount of options being provided, the consumer may be left confused and over whelmed. To continue, any consumer being helped by Medicare only has the word of any of worker within its field. Furthermore, if one of the employees providing the information is not well experienced he or she may be giving out false information to the consumers. As a result, the consumer may be left with the wrong plan.

With any Medicare plan the consumer is given he or she can only see certain providers. If you choose to go to provider who is not within their network list the user will typically end up paying high out of pocket costs. Furthermore, this program does have a large gap for what can be covered. Likewise, to the state mentioned before, Medicare does give basic protection against health care costs but, it will not cover all your medical expenses or the costs of most long-standing care. On the other hand, Medicare also has its benefits. For example, Medicare users usually are qualified for free Part A but, must pay a small amount out of pocket every month for Part B. This number is estimated to cost around $134 per month.
