An oxymoron meaning something is undeviating or plain in matter, but in another levelt is intricate and difficult to analyze.
By the time you are an adult, the phrase easier said than done is said by anyone learning, or working through a troublesome moment. The phrase exposes the debilitating moment of adversity and how much harder it is to overcome after some words of advice that seem so simple. This simply complicated saying can sometimes get the best of us. Whether it’s a new small change away from habit, or something someone tells us that seems so simple, the task of getting through adversity is easier said than done, or just simply complicated. All of us experience a hard time and we need to do the simply complicated to make it through life. This is demonstrated by people, and authors that even have a different take on life.

everyone. The bad habits we get into are very difficult to overcome. But the only way we can get past them is to change the habit. The way our brains are wired keeps us to have consistency and make habits. That’s why they’re so hard to break. The way we can fix them is do the opposite; seems simple enough. But the illusion makes the simple part of just stopping, complicated; it makes it easier said than done. It’s all difficult to get past because our habits get attached with emotions and what’s inside. So it keeps going, or is hard to let go of the connection we feel. Jane E. Brody, a Personal Health columnist, says “...it is easier to change behavior than emotions she eschews the popular saying “Don’t worry, be happy.” Instead, she endorses a form of cognitive behavioral therapy: Act first and the right feelings will follow”(Brody). The hardships we have could very likely be because of a habitual move or thought. But once we act against adversity and retrain, whether it’s faking it or not, you will be able to have a different feeling about it.
People you spend time with, change your behavior over time.
They can also bring a different perspective and feeling towards something or someone so spend time with people you would want to be with, that will encourage, and bring a good attitude and feeling to life. Even if you feel a connection, or emotion towards them it’s not beneficial to be around the people that will seem like a good person, but are synthetic. Choosing not to listen to the pessimists Richie Parker, a man that was born with bilateral amelia meaning he was born without arms, stated that “I don't listen to someone when they they tell me I can't do something. There’s not a whole lot that can stand in my way" (Parker). Richies enthusiastic outlook on life has lead him to be able to drive, work on a computer, be very successful in work, and defy what his friends said. His parent’s didn’t believe in him, but Mr. Parker recognized that adversity can downgrade us but it teaches us to become stronger and learn new things; sometimes we may have to fight (Parker). He showed how to fight against
adversity.
Adversity is difficult to face and fight. Because there's the thoughts of “they don't understand!” or “can’t they see what I’m going through?” we want to give up and are ambitious for things to be simpler. By learning to break the habits and see the most difficult we learn and become stronger through the most basic words, face the problem! The poem by Langston Hughes, called Mother to Son, there’s some simple and true words. “So boy, don’t you turn back. Don’t you set down on the steps. Cause you finds it’s a kinder hard” (Hughes). The well written poem from an older person, to the young and unknowledgeable encourages not to turn back, or “...set down on the steps” (Hughes) describing life like a stairway with levels and different places everyone is when they end life. The poem delivers the message that because you may want to give up, and just stop progressing, it’s going to be more difficult to do so and then get back up and continue.
So listen to the simple words and fight against the adversity even if you don’t surmise that you can do something in the moment. Carry on because it’s going to be more physically or mentally draining to quit and then have that problem or burden for longer than you need. The basic way to carry on and make it through adversity is tough. But use the simple expressions because they really work despite being difficult to achieve. Fight through adversity with something that’s undeviating or plain in matter, but in another levelt is intricate and difficult to analyze. Do the simply complicated.
