The freedom and rights of African Americans have been an insecure dispute with the turn of the century which is a problem to be enlighten by our country. This enlightenment will give a wide variety of freedom and liberty to us as human beings as well as equality in the states of this country we live in. To construe this difficult complication between colored and caucasians a variety of ideas need to be clarified to the people of the United States which can improve the conditions of African American life not only in the community but throughout the states. The plans of this is as similar as the strategies of, “Atlanta Exposition Address,” by Booker T. Washington and “The Disfranchisement of the Negro,” by Charles W. Chesnutt. These strategies are focusing on economic opportunities such as helping with labor work throughout the community creating jobs and securing a stronger civil right which everyone needs to speak up and do what is right not only for ethnicity but for the community as a whole.
