The first group participated in an intervention, or a pen pal program. It was designed to help teach and internalize the notion that intelligence is expandable. At the end of the experiment, data or in this case attitude to learning would be collected and compared to the other set of participant. The second group was also in a pen pal designed program, however different intelligent orientation, this group is a control group and the last group did not participate in an intervention, that way weather there was a positive outcome. Student were asked to have their have transcript and SAT score release, the interventions were made up of three session, about ten days part.
