Most people from Africa was bribed to capture men, women, and kids from many different tribes by the Europeans just to get them on a boat chained up over the river to be sold into slavery as a passion profit. It took a whole century plus more for people around United States to realize how bad slavery was and how badly people were being treated, and beaten physically. Africans Americans was treated worse than an animal because whites did not consider them human beings they consider them objects, apes and monkeys. I know these words hateful words brought them to their lowest but that still did not stop them from being giving up hope for their freedom. December 18, 1865 was the date that abolished slavery and made everyone of any race a free citizenship that had equals rights according to the 13 Amendments. I do believe blacks have come a long way fighting a long battle of slavery and yet, still manage to remained strong individuals.
