“The Blind Side” is a movie based on a true story about an African American Michael Jerome Oher an American football offensive tackle plays now for the Carolina Panthers of the National football League (NFL). In the movie Michael Oher also known as “Big Mike” he was a less privileged teenager from the Memphis, Tennessee he grow up in the projects Michael’s mother was a drug addict his father was absent in Michaels life that led Michael to become orphaned child he would escape from foster to foster homes sleeping in the streets. His life would change slightly after “Big Tony” a family friend that help Michael gave him a place to sleep time to time in his own home. One day Tony decided to enroll Michael Oher and his son to Briarcrest Christian School.
Coach made it clear that Michael was a brave man trying to become better person by trying to attend to a Christian school this is where Michael’s life started to slowly flip for the best. The Tuohy family, a wealthy family Leigh Tuohy is a well-known Designer, wife a mother of two children that attend to Briarcrest School. Sean Tuohy is a business owner from Memphis, Tennessee their daughter Collins she’s a volleyball player for the Briarcrest school same age as Michael, and Sean Junior known as S.J a ten year old boy who helps Michael break from his shell, by treating Michael as his own brother. One cold night Michael was walking down the road to the school Gym where he has been sleeping; the Tuohy family quickly takes him in for the night to their own home and eventually became part of their family. Leigh the mother of the family is a strong-willed southern woman with a will to help Oher by helping him become better from where he came from their relationship and Michael’s progression is the focal point of this
