If they were to be affected by an event such as abuse, and there is no safeguarding in place, this could carry on and seriously affect their physical and emotional development. This could mean they fall behind with developmental milestones. A key focus of the unit 3114IBA Management Problem Solving is reflecting on learning experiences. Clydesdale (2016) defines reflection as a process of introspection, self-assessment and emotional evaluation. I have learnt that reflection is a critical part of the problem-solving process. Being able to question problems and use critical reflection techniques is a key skill for my desired profession as a human resources practitioner (Clydesdale, 2016). Furthermore, a key focus of the unit 3114IBA Management Problem Solving was experiential learning. The course allowed for me to be exposed to a variety of problems and solve them in a practical manner to simulate real business scenarios (Hermina, 2008). Using experiential learning in undergraduate studies is demonstrated to increase skills required in the workforce (Burnett, 2008). An insightful moment was the increase in creative thinking stimulated by listening to class discussions and engagement in the online collaborate sessions (Burnett, 2008). This essay focuses on my key takeaways, what I have…

In my role, we assist student’s enrolling in courses and help plan how to fund their education. This job can be very satisfying yet frustrating at the same time. I feel that it is a great learning environment and overall, employee satisfaction is high. It is often the case that the Project Manager is more noted for his/her management technique expertise, his/her ability to "get things done," and his/her ability to "get along with people" than for technical prowess. However, it can be dangerous to minimize technical prowess when choosing Project Managers, dependent on the project type and size. The Project Manager should preferably be an expert either in the field of the project task or a subject allied to it.…
