Air Force Electrical and Environmental Specialist Website The United States Air Force continually enlists and trains people to protect and secure the nation. An excellent way to educate the United States population on jobs provided by the Air Force is through the World Wide Web. The following website architecture will describe the purpose, target audience, and content needs of designing a website to inform audiences of the requirements, responsibilities, lifestyle, and benefits in pursuing a career as an Aircraft Electrical and Environmental (E&E) Specialist. Purpose The purpose of the website is to provide the audience with an E&E job description and display information regarding job and training requirements, qualifications, and benefits. The website will also offer information to contact recruiters and a web page about the military lifestyle. With the knowledge gained from the website, visitors will be able to make informed decisions on whether or not a career in the Air Force as an E&E specialist is right for them. The goal of the website is to ensure the E&E career field remains filled with the most qualified personnel possible. Working in this field for some time, I am aware of the shortage of people available with electrical and environmental experience. A dedicated website targeted at personnel eligible to enlist is just what the Air Force needs to recruit the much needed workers in this field of work. Target Audience People considering a career in the Air Force, parents or family members, and people currently enlisted, such as recruiters or cross-trainees, are potential audience groups.
