This wide scope of staff is certified to provide care services primarily within the fields including physical therapy, occupational work injury-related therapy, therapy for speech, rehabilitation for sports injuries as well as sports performance enhancement by way of guidance through strategically implemented training exercises. Patients who typically seek primary care services at In Motion range from athletes, dancers, elderly, adult and teenage patients seeking rehabilitation, employees on workers compensation, and pre-operational and post-operational patients. As far as wellness programs outside of the typical therapy-related services performed by the staff at In Motion, additional wellness program services include nutritional counseling, fitness evaluations, and weight loss programs tailored specifically to each patient requesting services. Upon graduation, I am interested in pursuing a career in the military either in physical therapy or a branch of civil affairs that focuses on analyzing local areas in foreign countries who need assistance with matters of rebuilding efforts, education, and health and disease-related issues to name a few. The Oceana Branch Health Clinic provides a range of services for mostly active-duty military, but depending on the specified service requested, certain services are also open to dependents of active-duty military, retirees, and beneficiaries of active-duty military personnel. Services offered by the clinic include physical therapy, prescription filling, eye exams, corrective vision treatment, physical examinations, and dental examinations, as well as oral surgery. The health care providers providing these services include physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, physical therapist technicians, x-ray technicians, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, optometrists, physicians, dentists and oral surgeons, dental hygienists, and administrative staff.
