For me personally, I do not understand why most people do not exercise or eat right. To me it has always been a priority and will always be a priority. It is understandable how life can get in the way though. People are busy and it can be a lot to keep a cycle of working out and eating right when things get in the way. One aspect that has always been a struggle for me and does affect my intellectual wellness, psychological wellness and health is the amount of sleep I get. On an average night, I only get five hours of sleep and I can see the impact it has on me. I am usually always tired and I get sick more often than most people. My efforts made in the gym are also not seen as much due to the lack of sleep. I workout five times a week. Three days of the week are dedicated to lifting weights the other two days are devoted to cardio. This is the stage I am at in my life where it is okay to focus more on gaining mass than losing mass. Even though I am busy I am able to make it happen because I sacrifice other things that take up time. These opportunity cost can be both positive and negative. A very negative one that I stated earlier was how I give up sleep for the gym. A positive opportunity cost could be giving up watching T.V. to workout. While I am focusing on lifting weights I have to ensure I am using proper technique to avoid an injury which could be harmful in the future. I do not put that much stress on my body though because I focus more on muscular endurance than muscular strength. I favor this focus because I fell it is more useful for a person. Muscular endurance can be obtained from doing more repetitions at lower weight. Muscular strength is when you lift the maximum amount you can. Both are important, and I avoid injury by ensuring I always warm up with some light cardio and stretching and that I cool down with
