Six Dimensions of Health Worksheet
Part 1
For each of the following six dimensions of health, list at least one characteristic, activity, belief, or attitude that reflects that dimension in your life. Provide a brief explanation with each example. Refer to Ch. 1 in the text for explanations of these dimensions.
Physical health: Physical health being aware of diets and nutrition knowing what to eat, when to eat and the amount you’re supposed to be eating. That way you are happy with your physical appearance. If you are looking good you will feel amazing.
Social health: Social health the environment in which you surround yourself in building a better living space and community. Living in peace and harmony with others instead of having conflicts with other people in your surroundings.
Intellectual health: Accepting what is right and what is wrong instead of putting yourself in denial. Being aware of what it is that you are doing wrong that way you are capable of fixing things before it’s too late. Taking the initiative in learning and experiencing new things being a leader instead of a follower.
Environmental health: Living in harmony in a good environment taking acting on protection the environment in which you live work study at. Leading a good lifestyle in the places you interact .
Emotional health: Emotional health being able to accept things as they come having a positive attitude towards every one of your challenges day to day activities having a positive attitude will help you achieve what needs to be done without getting any stress.
Spiritual health: Taking yourself somewhere nice deep and quiet appreciating nature learning more about the outdoors. Finding the meaning of life for ourselves being tolerant with each and everyone’s different beliefs.
