Part 1
For each of the following six dimensions of health, list at least one characteristic, activity, belief, or attitude that reflects that dimension in your life. Provide a brief explanation with each example. Refer to Ch. 1 in the text for explanations of these dimensions.
Physical health: Stress management, stress is what you feel when you have to handle more than you are used to. When you are stressed, your body responds as though you are in danger. It makes hormones that speed up your heart, make you breathe faster, and give you a burst of energy.
Social health: The economic and social conditions, and their distribution among the population, that influence individual and group differences in health status. Social health of a society is defined as how well the society does at offering every citizen the equal opportunity to obtain access to the goods and services critical to being able to function as a contributing member of society. …show more content…
For someone who does not believe in anything unseen, this may entail perhaps having at least more appreciation for the life and conditions that one witnesses, experiences, or feels from life interaction from people, animals, nature. For me, this would mean having sufficient appreciation for life and creation and also a creator and the wonderful, complex creation around me. This would mean having obtained an understanding of how these things work in a way that ar beneficial to me. I feel only by having an accurate understanding of the scriptures can one, have hope and a better appreciation for the unseen spiritual world and a wonderful hope from that knowledge.
