Physics is the study of matter and how it moves through space. It is the basis for how we study how the world works. It is said to be one of the oldest sciences studied academically. It has shaped the way we live, eat, think and exist in the world. Early advances in physics from great physicist that have open doors for the technological inventions that we all use today, such as the television we watch our favorite shows on and the computers we searched the internet with. Albert Einstein contributions to the study of physics have made profound advancements in the world of science. His intense drive to discover and create has forever changed that way that people live. He is most famously known for his theory of relativity.
Einstein was born March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany. His extensive educational background includes the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School, where he first trained to be a teacher of physics and mathematics. He spent many years as a professor. Einstein’s quest for knowledge led him out of the classroom to continue his studies. He later took his began an independent scholar who’s research led to an explanation of the Brownian movement of molecules. He investigated the thermal properties of light with a low radiation density and his observations laid the foundation of the photon theory of light.
Early on in his scientific journey, Einstein recognized the “inadequacies of Newtonian mechanics” and that is what began his work to address those flaws. Einstein is most widely known for his dynamic findings regarding mass and energy in his theory of relativity. The theory introduced that the speed of light in a vacuum is constant and an absolute physical boundary for motion. The traveling of light affects how people perceive the things that we see. Since we do not see or move at the speed of light, a person’s perception during visual intake is entirely affected by the speed of light rays bouncing off the object.
