Term Paper
I have chosen to write about Alexander the Great and how effective he was as a military leader, king, and conqueror. This topic is important because by the age of thirty, Alexander the Great had created one of the largest empires in ancient history. There has lately been some discussion and doubts about just how great he was as a leader and a ruler. Many historians paint very different pictures of Alexander the Great. Alexander the Great had several roles in his lifetime. He was a fair king, who listened to his people and was loved by them. He was a merciless general, who conquered most of the civilized world, from Greece to Egypt, Persia and India. He was also a generous, but powerful conqueror, because he would let them follow their own culture. Alexander the Great was the greatest military leader, king, and conqueror in history.
