Alexander The Great Accomplishments

A hero or not, Alexander the Great has many accomplishments and has been viewed differently by many people. He has been seen as a highly appreciated hero who has done great things and impacted our world’s view of history. Alexander was born during the year of the 106th Olympic games. he was reckoned to be either a good or bad person. Some see him as a threat who doesn't deserve his title; and someone who's killed many just to get what he wanted. Alexander has established new colonies and cities, and many of them he named after himself. He has also set up a common currency for his entire realm; even used Greeks, Macedonians, and Persians in his plan to try and unite the East and West. There are many things that have worked to give him the title, Alexander the Great! Of course, he has a few negatives to tag along with his many accomplishments. For example, he had a terrible drinking addiction that really had an effect to the last seven years of his life. His over demanding parents were a great contribution to his drinking addiction because they forced him to do many things as he grew up.
