Altarpiece Research Paper

An altarpiece consists of 3 or more wood en painted or carved panels placed at the back of or behind and above the altar. The wings can be movable and folded over the central panel.
An altarpiece contains religious imagery that viewers can look at during liturgical ceremonies or personal devotions.
