Alternate Ending Of Three Finger By Jen Clarke
and, he did.
“All I got is a Dime on me,” he laughed,
“And so, all I got is a Dime on me, you get it?” he said.
“Diamond me.” Kenny shouted,
“Oh, brother,” he laughed and took Heidi by the arm.
“He’s crazy,” Kenny said.
“He hasn’t even got a full deck, let alone one dime on him.”
But Heidi just kept laughing at the zaniness of’ Three Finger.
It was pretty funny Jessie thought, and repeated it, laughing so hard holding his sides leaning up against a parked car to keep his balance.
“Yeah babe I’m a Dia-mond-man,
“All I got is a dime-on-me.”
It was bad enough that Willie came up with that one, but to use it as a rap trying to impress a girl...that was a whole different thing.
Kenny, trying to get her attention continued with his rap,

*** They boys were well ahead of Kenny.
Heidi watched them running toward the elevated train, all the time laughing out loud thinking about the crazy Diamond man rap Willie tried on her, a rap for the ages, she thought, right out of left field, but oddly enough, it seemed to have worked.

Willie and Jessie still had a distance to go to reach the station and Kenny was moving as fast as he could to catch up.
The train started pulling into the station when Willie and Jessie reached the entrance. Willie, in such a hurry to catch the train, kept dropping his token on the ground, as if his fingers were wet.
Jessie yelled back to him
“Dam, Three Finger, it only takes two fingers to hold a Diamond, Man.” Jessie laughed at his clumsy pal.
Willie just couldn’t seem to find the grip on the token. He looked up and watched Jessie running up the stairs, frustrated as he listened to the train come screeching to a stop.

Willie finally dropped his token into the slot. He was ready to walk through the turn style, when suddenly Kenny jogged through the booth cutting him off, laughing hysterically as he passed. The turn style stopped, and Willie found himself standing in the turn style with nowhere to go. Screaming at Kenny while he urgently searched his pockets for another token which he found, dropping it in the slot he hurried up the stairs to find the

He fixed his sunglasses and his hat, then putting his arm around Jessie’s shoulder. He said,
“Why the sad look, my brother?”
Jessie ignored him, feeling sorry for himself.
“At least we have dates for Friday night.
“At the High School,” Jessie quickly looked up at him in total surprise.
“For real,” he asked.

Kenny acknowledged it was all true, and reached out to give him a slap on the hand, the earlier version of the high five. Both of the boys were so excited they started to slap each other on the hands arms and shoulders.
And when Willie got the news, he jumped up and slapped Kenny on the hat.
“What the”
Kenny replied, thinking three fingers was ready for the crazy house, and on Sunday they could get a fee for turning the nuts in.

Overwhelmed with the good news the three boys sat down and planned out their strategy for the Friday night blast. Willie, after deep thought, came up with his usual comedy routine by suggesting,
“Why don’t we Jap-em out and not show up?”
They just looked at him with a, what in the hell are you talking about? Expression on their

    Jay Z's autobiography

Throughout the memoir Jay Z almost translates his lyrics to some of his songs for the audience. He includes the popular song 99 problems. “If you're having girl problems I feel bad for you son / I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one” is the line and Jay Z explains it as “In this verse, the bitch is a female dog, the K-9 cop coming to sniff the ride. When I was living my version of this story, we got away – the K-9 unit was late, and the cop let me go. We were back on the road again, hearts pounding, crack still tucked untouched in the stash, when I saw the k-9 unite screaming up the high way going in the opposite direction” (61). He ties this into his past as a dealer which started when he was very young and how he knew that since most people had not gone through what he had, audiences would not understand what he meant by using the word “bitch.” Jay Z says that it is what seems to be the punch line, making it seem like the last word someone gets. He says that most rappers include this infamous line in their songs, “Their voices were big, like their beats, but naturally slick, like hustlers’. The rhymes were crisp and aggressive” (9). This hints to the notion of masculinity needing to be emphasized. He also mentions that he…
