Amazon Operations Management Analysis
The main objective of the paper was to identify and understand the operations management techniques uses in Amazon.com. Amazon is one of the most emblematic of the great technology companies. They believe in low prices as they know that customers want low prices and know that it is true in this era. That is why Amazon.com has low cost strategies as operation management strategy. Moreover, the company is in continuous improvement through technological innovation along with the physical existence at some states of the world. In the end, the paper has also recommended company to take certain steps for the customers who have no access to internet. This paper is about industrial operation management and in this way, the paper will explain that how operation management techniques are used in practices specifically in engineering companies, plus in wide applications in other non-engineering industries like public sector and IT. Hence, the chosen company is “Amazon.com,” therefore; the paper will explain operational management and operational strategies of specific company.
