Volunteering at a local hospital always proved to be enriching and educationally inspiring way to spend my time since it gave me a glimpse of the working environment I would eventually be exposed too. It is only extremely heartbreaking that this hospital where I first became exposed to the medical world closed this year. I lost a place that played a part in driving me towards my ambitious dreams, but my mom lost one of her two jobs.
