There are many different reasons why people decide to leave and migrate from their homeland. These reasons tend to surround and group together under certain regions, which are typically environmental problems, economic hardships with keeping a job or struggle paying the government what it is asking for in certain countries and lastly cultural troubles. These major factors are what we know today as ‘Push’ and ‘Pull’ factors. These factors are what drives’ the individual or the group to decide if it is time to move on and migrate to another country or state within the same region. Pull factors are for the most part positive and these are factors located in the destination country, and they are designed to attract people or groups into leaving their homes to come live in a new state with better openings. The reasons people usually move to a country with pull factors are economic job opportunities and the idea of a better life factor into the pull aspects of the process. The migrant is looking for attractions that spark what they are looking for in a place to settle down and live peacefully. America is a great example of a pull factor country. It is one of the most developed countries in the world and because of this, many people see America as the land of opportunities. America has one of the most stable governments for migrant seekers to look for a better life away from persecution and hard ships. Also America has the most opportunities for immigrants to get jobs and to become integrated into our culture and society by getting jobs and providing for their family’s with new chances that they were denied before in their homelands. Their are many different push and pull aspects that can influence a person’s migrant movements.
