American Serial Killer: Ted Bundy
Ted Bundy was an American serial killer born on November 24,1946 in Burlington, Vermont who started a tirade of murders from 1973-1978. Due to the time area in which ted Bundy was conceived Cowell his unwed biological mother moved to Philadelphia for her parents to raises Ted Bundy. The exact way he discovered the cover up between his mother and grandparents is not known, the history of his grandfather foreshadowed abuse in Bundy’s life. Allegations of the grandfather throwing one of his daughters down the stairs over an argument regarding the amount of sleep she was receiving. Bundy scooped out victims by lingering around college campuses in Washington, Utah, Colorado and Florida. In an attempt to murder her he broke a piece of metal of the head board of her bed and beat her with it, the attempt was not successful as she survived the attack. On March 3, 1975 21-year-old Lynda Healy was reported missing and discovered dead on March 3rd of that year. Blunt forces trauma was present, evidences of this is concluded by Lynda’s pillow case which was drenched in blood and the night gown she was wearing which had blood on the neck line. (BlancoI, n.d.) In 2975 Bundy was incarnated for the kidnapping of Carol DaRonch who escaped. Two years later Bundy was convicted of murder and during the trial he was his own lawyer and escaped from the court houses and was located eight days later. Once in custody Bundy was sent to jail in which he escaped by digging a hole into the ceiling which lead to the murder of two sorority girls and an attack on two who survived. On January 4th, 1989 Ted Bundy was put to death by the electric chair. (Ted Bundy, 2017)
