American Stereotypes

have you ever been stereotyped or told that you wont be able to do something because of the color of you skin. If so then you have been stereotyped. Some of the main stereotypes for people of color are "your black so you must be poor". A Mexican stereotype is "your Mexican so you must be a immigrant". and if your Asian a stereotype is "your Asian so you must be good at math". those are all stereotypes that most of the time don't apply. a lot of times people say stereotypes to try and be funny but a lot of the times people do say them to be mean. in my option when people say stereo types it would make me want to prove them wrong . I think for some people if you tould them a stereotype about them it would make them sad
