America’s Gift to My Generation
What is America’s best gift to my generation? America is a giving country, it gives many gifts to different kinds of people. America has given many amazing gifts to me. I decided that I would chose some of my favorites. The best gifts that were given to me has to be freedom of speech, the right to a good education, and good food and water.
One of my favorite gifts that America has given is freedom of speech. Freedom of speech means that you have the right to express any opinions without censorship or restraint, but freedom of speech also has some downfalls. If you express your opinions some people may not agree, or if you wear something you like other people may not like it. It is nice to be able to talk about
anything you want without having to ask anyone about it first. Freedom of speech is one of the best gifts that America has given!
Another gift that America gives is the right to get a good education. Education is a great thing for younger kids, so that they can learn about more important things in life. It is an enlightenment experience. We are lucky to have education because there a millions of children in other countries that do not get it. One amazing thing about education is that if you get enough of it you could end up getting your dream job.
The last gift, is that we have the chance to get good drinking water and healthy food. America has a Safe Drinking Water Act, which provides overall regulatory framework for safety. We also have a lot of great food to eat, there are about 50,000 fast food chains. In the US about 76% of people eat fast food on a daily basis, that may not be healthy but at least we have food. In good drinking water about 30% of men drink water and 34% of women drink water with a total of 64%.
In the U.S. there has been many gifts given throughout the years. My favorites throughout all of them are freedom of speech, the right to a good education, and good food and water. I am proud to be living in the United States where we have rights and an education. Thank you to all the Veterans who helped make America great!
