Amy Cuddy Response
David Cameron is an Ass Amy Cuddy is a social scientist and like many experts in their field has given a TED talk on the subject of her main work. In this TED talk she explores how our body language greatly affects who we become. Cuddy also shows how snubbing a handshake from your personal security after a visiting president shakes said guard’s hand, makes U.K Prime Minister David Cameron look like an ass. She speaks quickly, moves a bit around stage, breathes into the mic quite a bit, and has a few clutch words. Her speed in speaking is rather quick, which is understandable due to how much information she had to share with the audience. I feel she could have spoken a little slower through the speech. She rocks a little on stage beyond a normal level, this is more common when a person does not have a podium like at many TED talks. She does use clutch words a few times in her speech, a few sentences were begun with so, and like was said for non-comparison a couple times. Overall she does not commit any of these errors to the point of detraction from the main point, and she still got her point across effectively which is truly all the
