In this story, first, the miller and his son were driving their ass to a neighboring fair, preparing to sell the ass. However, when they meet a troop of women and are laughed by them for choosing to walk but leave the ass unused, the old man put his son on the ass quickly, and walks beside them to make them look not stupid. Next, when they come up to a group of old men, the son is criticized by them for he is not respecting his father. On hearing about this, the old man mounts the ass himself and put down his son. To satisfy others, he changed his own idea again and again. In fact, each situation is ok except the last one. If he does not attention others criticize, he can go without any worry and sell his ass succeed. In our life, we sometimes do the same thing as the miller does. Liking me, when I do something, I always consider that what others’ think about what I had done, worried that if my way is stupid.
