Bob Harper recovers from a heart attack

NBC's "Biggest Loser" fitness trainer and host, Bob Harper, says he is recovering from a severe heart attack that left him unconscious for two days.

Harper told TMZ that he was working in a gymnasium in New York this month when he collapsed. He said a doctor who was also in the gym performed CPR on him.

Harper, 51, says he spent eight days in a New York hospital and has not yet been allowed to fly to his home in Los Angeles.

Harper was a montage on all 17 seasons of "The Biggest Loser". He served as a trainer on the show from 2004 to 2015. He took over as the host of the actual weight loss program last
