Every day I walk down the hallways seeing smiles on people’s faces, as they walk with their friends or posse. Gossip about people is in the air, some people I know, some people I haven’t even seen or heard, or they were talking about me. Some days I'm an outcast, some days I have a group of friends. It's centered around a boy with a facial deformity, this facial deformity was Treacher Collins syndrome. Because of this, it prevented him from going to a public mainstream school. That was until the time he was in fifth grade, which was when he enrolled in Beecher Prep. The majority of his classmates didn’t accept him for his looks moreover become his friend.
