their crime small or large. The prisoners do have it rough depending on the circumstances such as rape or solitary. Because of those issues that the community hears about in prison that keeps people off the streets and the crime to a minimum. Life locked in a box is terribly hard for a prisoner, and life outside of a box can be even harder for someone who’s been in prison. No one wants to lose time and watch it pass without notice, but for prisoner maybe they deserve it depending on their offense. Most prisoners should not have to live a life in prison because of a minor offense, unless they keep making the same mistake over and over again.
Personal experiences led me to believe that the justice system is not always fair, but that it is strong. I do not agree with the article because the prison might be the best thing. Prisoners who want to be in jail commit a crime as large as taking somebody life that they want to be behind bars for the rest of their life without parole. Those inmates are the ones that should let time pass and be locked up alone in solitary. Sometimes they do not understand why they do the things they do such as murder an officer and his wife and leave four young children to be orphans. Those inmates should remain life in prison for tearing a family apart and not have a single care in the world for the damage they done. Inmates who are good guys should be given a second chance at life, but I believe when they becomes so consumed by loss of time they forget how to be free and enjoy the time they have. A person should not have to lose their life, but they deserve to pay for their crimes minor or major. Everyone has a choice on how they live their life, and some chose to let it pass without knowing anything outside a box. The reason I disagree is because a prisoner who was in jail only committed a murder only to return and tear four children apart from their
family.
