It reminds me of my cousin because, when i read this poem is sounds to me as if she sitting right next to me and is talking to me. Every word that comes out of her mouth is about food and this poem is about food. This poem is very detailed and explores different types of food.
“Eating Out” by Ursula Askham Fanthorpe, is one of the poems in my anthology because, it shows the strict upbringing and experiences of fine dining at a posh restaurant. Another reason i chose this poem was because, it has a negative perspective to it. Which shows that when talking about things related to food it is important you know you table manners. This poem relates to a family friends who used to never use her table manners, when we went to a restaurant. It got so out of hand, that her parents once didn't bring her because, she never use her table manners.
