This is typically a side effect of origin stories because you focus on one character the entire time. Batman Begins deals with this same problem. Tim Miller created this movie in hopes to make a series of sequels like the Dark Knight trilogy. Tallerico also claims that Deadpool isn't satire, but pure referencing in a negative, joking tone. I do agree this statement, but I believe this helps build Deadpool's character as he doesn't take anything that seriously and shows his arrogance. He complimented the casting of Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) I hadn't heard of her before the movie, but she did a good job. He states he likes Weasels (T.J. Miller) casting also because I guess Tallerico likes the HBO show Silicon Valley. Again, I didn't really know much about him. He doesn't talk about the casting for the villains, but I feel like they are pretty stereotypical. Ajax/Francis (Ed Skrein) is an evil British dude with no emotion and Angel is played by (Gina Carano) who is a pretty brutish woman and she is recognizable from the Fast and Furious Series.
