Crystals and gemstones are living formations that have been growing in our earth since the beginning of time. Considered highly sacred and powerful, these beings have been used since the dawn of ancient civilization.
The Egyptians buried their dead with quartz upon the forehead. This was believed to help guide the departed safely into the afterlife. They also believed rose quartz could prevent aging.
Cleopatra wore crystals around her eyes to promote enlightenment and awareness.
Chinese medicine commonly incorporates the use of healing crystals – including crystal-tipped needles used in acupuncture during healing sessions.
The Romans used rose quartz as a seal to signify ownership
Wealthy ancient Greeks and Romans drank from amethyst goblets
