Avon Company:
Avon Products, Inc, known simply as Avon, is an American international manufacturer and distributor of beauty, household, and personal care company that sells products through representatives in over 140 countries across the world. As of 2012, Avon had annual sales of $10.7 billion worldwide.[2] It is the fifth-largest beauty company and second largest direct selling enterprise in the world, with 6.4 million representatives.[3] Avon Products is a multi-level marketing company.[4] Their "Ding Dong Avon Calling" advertising campaign, which ran from the mid-1950s to 1967, has been called "one of the most deeply ingrained brand identities of the past century".[5] The company's CEO is Sherilyn S. McCoy, who was appointed to that position in April 2012.[6] The former CEO, Andrea Jung, became the executive chairman of the board. Jung was the longest tenured female CEO among Fortune 500 companies.[7]

• Andrea Jung (born 1959)[1] is a Canadian-American executive, fundraiser and prominent women's-issues supporter. She was the CEO of Avon Products, Inc. from 1999 until her forced resignation in spring 2012, and was simultaneously executive chairman of its board of directors through the end of 2012. As of January 1, 2013, she serves as a senior adviser to Avon's board, continuing in her long-established role as the high-profile public face of the company.

Career :
• Jung joined Avon Products, Inc. in 1994 as the company's president in its product marketing group. She became president of global marketing in 1996 and executive vice president/president of global marketing and new business in 1997. Her responsibilities at that time centered primarily around market research, joint ventures and strategic planning. She then became president and chief operating officer, with responsibility for all business units of Avon worldwide. She has been on the company's board of directors since 1998.     Andrea Yates was found guilty for drowning her five children in a bath tub in their house in Houston on the morning of June 20th of 2001. She called the Houston Police Department after committing this evil act who arrived at the scene and took Yates in custody and questioned her. She revealed the details of how she drowned her children one by one and put them in their beds and left her six-month old daughter floating dead in the bath tub before she drowned her last child who was seven years old.
