To start, after reading part of the book “Get Well Soon”, one could predict that Anna will be released from the mental hospital and Justin will become Anna’s boyfriend. First, one could predict that Anna will be released from the hospital due to the fact that she is obviously improving her mental state. In the beginning, Anna was known to have panic attacks in school that got so severe that she actually began to skip class, which was the main reason she was admitted in the first place (Halpern 4). In the hospital, they have a little area that resembles a school so patients can get work done that teachers have sent them to do. At this school, Anna has grown to the point where she feels no anxiety or claustrophobia while in class. This is a good …show more content…
Another prediction that can be made about the book “Get Well Soon” is that Anna will begin dating Justin. One reason why one could predict this is because these two love birds try to make contact whenever possible. To point out, this hospital has strict “no relationships” rules as well as rules against any contact with anyone at all. However, while on an elevator ride, Anna states, “…soon I felt a little tickle on the back of my right hand. At first I was going to jerk it up and scratch it, but as it became less tickly and more warm and smooth, I realized it was Justin’s hand” (Halpern 95). This time was the first of many times to come that Justin had touched either her arm, hand, or leg with his even though there were rules against it. These actions prove that they feel so attracted to each other that they risk breaking the rules just to touch their bodies against one another. If someone is that attracted to another, the possibility of the two going out is extremely high. In addition, Justin and Anna enjoy each other’s company.
