In the play and the movie there are many more similarities than differences. In my opinion, I feel that the movie followed the play. This is shown in many ways. For example, the Anne Frank movie used direct quotes from the Anne Frank play and for the most part followed the script. In addition, the relationship between Anne and Peter is very similar. In the beginning they hated having each others company and Anne had wished she could have stayed with any other person but him, but as time progressed they grew closer and started, very slowly falling in love. The movie includes all the romantic love scenes and the quarrelling arguments between Anne Frank and Peter Van Daan.…

The movie and the book are alike and different. One of the biggest reasons that they are the same is that in both the video and the text the setting is on the planet Venus. Another similarity is that in both the sun comes out for only one hour. One big difference between the two is that in the book, the children didn’t give Margot flowers at the end, but they did in the movie. Another difference is that in the video, the rain had not stopped for nine years, but in the short story, it had not stopped for 7 years. Finally, a reason that they are different is that Margot was not as shy in the movie as she was in the book. These are 5 ways that the movie and the text are…
