This book soon talks about the different personality of twins Davy and Dora. They are the twins of Marilla’s 3rd cousin and Marilla takes the two children to help in because their mom passed away. The uncle of the twins is out of the country, the twin girl Dora is a nice, well - behaved young girl. On the other hand Dora’s twin brother Davy is the complete opposite, he is much more of a handful, and he constantly getting into fights. The twins were initially supposed to only stay a short time but the uncle of the twins postpones his return to get the twins then eventually passes away himself.
Other characters in this book are Anne’s school friend Paul Irving, an American boy living in Avonlea with his grandmother while his father works in the states. He delights Anne with his imagination and whimsical ways, which …show more content…
She loves everyone. Towards the end of the book, Mrs. Rachel Lynde's husband dies and Mrs. Lynde moves in with Marilla at Green Gables, allowing Anne to go to college at last. She and Gilbert make plans to attend Redmond College in the fall.
After being adopted by Marilla Cuthbert. I feel that Anne Shirley finally felt at ease once she grew up at Green Gables. Becoming older helped Anne grow so much She did have her ups and down but she got threw it with so many people in her life
For my book cover. I think I would add all the main people who are important Anne’s life with Prince Edward Island or green gables in the background. But bring Anne towards the front that way it will give it a pop to the book cover. Since she Is the main
